Allison Rodgers Photography is a nationally recognized and award-winning portrait studio located in Collierville, Tennessee.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11

Inspired by this verse, my husband Jeff and I decided to take a leap of faith, and ARP was born in early 2004. Even now, there is still no doubt that this is what we are supposed to be doing with our lives, and we are blessed by it every day.

Here’s a little background info about me:

I’m originally a Mississippi girl, and my interest in photography started at a young age. I was always fascinated with photographs, and my favorite book was The LOOK Book, a compilation of images from LOOK magazine. These images told stories, and I loved how everything felt so real! During college I followed my heart and entered the world of Photography and Design. After graduating from Delta State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design and another in Photography, I began my career as Art Director in the Memphis advertising industry where I later met my husband Jeff.

Although I truly enjoyed my time in the advertising world, my passion lay in photography. After years of hiring others to shoot images for my design work, I decided to shoot my own. I longed to create a business that could not only visually tell stories but also create fine art products to showcase them. Shortly after, Jeff and I joined creative forces and launched a high-end, product-focused studio specializing in custom fine art images. The rest, they say, is history!

Over the past eleven years Allison Rodgers Photography has been nationally and internationally published, has garnered many awards, and has been featured twice on ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition with Ty Pennington.

I also have had the privilege of serving as teacher and mentor for Professional Photographers of America, the oldest non-profit photography association in the world. In 2013 I had the honor of being recognized as one of Memphis’ 40 Under 40, and giving back to the community through ARP is still very important to us. Jeff, my handsome husband of fifteen years, now runs Kitbash Brand Design and focuses on telling the stories of many prominent local business leaders.

I want my business to feel like an awesome party — one where I get to hang out with my friends and make cool stuff for people we love!

I truly love how I’m asked to spend my days - connecting, capturing, creating, and curating the stories of my ARPfamilies. I love your family like it's my own and do everything in my power to help you love being photographed. Your experience here at ARP is precious to me because it requires your time and trust. Photography has the power to stop time by taking a fraction of a second and creating a permanent memory, and I am so honored to do that for you. If you’ve been with me for years, then you know these words are true (and that I have an obsession with stickers, I can balance many things on my head, and I think that “cheese” is an ugly word!). If you’re new to our ARPfamily, then WELCOME, and I can’t wait to tell your story!

Haley Edmiston

Studio Coordinator

Haley is the sweet southern voice you hear when you call ARP. She helps schedule all of your appointments and makes sure you have everything you need when you need it! She is your go-to-gal for any questions you might have. She keeps us in line, and you'll love her! And YES--she really is always this happy! (Except for when she was in her first trimester… we’re all still getting over that :) Baby E is due in February which means she and her husband Josh will have one human baby and three fur-babies!

Rebecca Dodson

designer

Rebecca has a background in Interior Design and does an incredible job of creating custom designs for your home. She runs our Ordering Appointments and also is really good at doing the moonwalk! (She put this on her resume, and it’s a good indicator of her personality!) She and her husband Brandon have a little pigtailed gal named Milly and a dachshund named Elvis. She’s got mad skills, including the fact that she can drink a glass of apple cider vinegar every day (germaphobes unite), and she’s funny!
